Light a Ner – Receive Blessings: Your Path to Yeshuah
One of the Most Powerful Places for Tefillah
Among the most wondrous places where tefillos are accepted beyond derech hateva is the holy tzion of our Rebbe, the Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh. Over the years, it became a place of deep yearning and davening, where Yidden of all backgrounds come to pour out their hearts before the Rachaman shel Olam, through the zechus of the tzaddik who rests there.
Aside from the greatness of the site as the kever of a tzaddik, its unique location on the slopes of Har HaZeisim, overlooking the Makom HaMikdash, gives it a special koach—about which it is said: “Zeh sha’ar HaShamayim.” Indeed, this place became a Tel Talpiyos, where the Yidden of all stripes stream to connect, cry, and hope.
Tefillos That Break Through the Heavens
Many have been blessed after davening here:
- Children born after long years of waiting.
- Shidduchim that suddenly opened.
- Yeshuos in parnassah, health, and personal hardships.
Those who have the zechus to help spread the tzaddik’s Torah—which draws from Torah, Mishnah, Gemara, and Aggadah—feel an even deeper closeness. His Torah, written b’kedushah u’vetaharah, elevates and purifies just through the saying of his holy words.
These “close ones” often experience revealed yeshuos in this place. The tzaddik gave his word: whoever toils to spread his Torah, he will act on their behalf, influencing every area of their life for the good.
A tzaddik decrees—and HaKadosh Baruch Hu fulfills

The soul of man is the candle of Hashem.
It is a holy minhag Yisroel to light a ner neshama in honor of the neshamos of tzaddikim. Not every Yid is zocheh to light a candle at such a makom kadosh—the kever of the Ohr HaChaim—and give pleasure to
such a holy neshama.
Our Chachamim write that lighting a ner for a tzaddik brings him great menuchas hanefesh and simcha. As brought by the Baal HaTurim: “Where there is a ner, there is no harm.” And Rabbeinu Bachya adds: “The neshama rejoices in the glow of the ner and walks in delight.”
Dear Yid…
You have the zechus to bring light and joy to the tzaddik’s neshama—and to draw heavenly influences into your own life.
Light a ner in your honor, or for a loved one, and help spread the tzaddik’s Torah.
- The tzaddik promised he would act for those who spread his Torah.
- The tzaddik promised—and he keeps his promise!
How It Works
For a donation, a designated representative personally lights a ner neshama at the tzion of the Ohr HaChaim in Yerushalayim, and davens for the names you submit.
